It's like a DNA Lab where we combine the best qualities and build something better, trying to eliminate any issues or problems.

ROMs & FILES - ROM UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

ROM UPGRADES:
(Unbranded means no Carrier-Specific Radio files are included in the upgrade, so it can be installed on any carrier phone. Carrier-Specific means that the carrier-specific files ARE included in the upgrade, so the ROM can only be installed for that particular carrier.)We have temporarily removed the ROM images from our server. We will post here if/when we get them back up again.
We are also working on Linux-based solutions for the TREO 700w/wx and will post those ROM images here when they are ready.

Remember this: FAT32, FAT32, FAT32, FAT32!
(Just to get you to remember, people seem to forget that they need to format their SD/miniSD Cards to FAT32, otherwise the phones won't recognize the card when trying to upgrade.)TREO 700w/wx PHONES
BACKUP YOUR PROGRAMS AND CONTACTS FIRST!
(There is a great FREE program for backing up your phone: http://freewareppc.com/database/pimbackup.shtml)1) Download the correct ROM Upgrade ZIP file you need for your particular Phone and Carrier.
2) Format an SD Card to Fat32. Can be any size SD Card as long as it's at least 128Mb.
3) Don't copy the whole ZIP file, but rather, copy the Contents of the ZIP file to the SD Card.
4) Turn your phone OFF and remove the Battery.
5) Insert the SD Card in your phone.
6) While holding the "Volume Up" button on the side of the phone, insert the battery and replace the battery cover.
7) You will be prompted if you want to upgrade the Rom or not, do not respond yet! Plug in your phone's AC adapter First, so your phone's battery doesn't go dead in the middle of the upgrade.
(Please note: Even though the charging light on your phone won't be lit at this time, it will be running on the AC power.)8) After you insert your phone's AC adapter, press UP on the front directional pad of your phone and the upgrade process will begin!
9) After the upgrade is complete, you should see the Welcome to Windows Mobile screen!
(Do Not touch the phone, move the phone, press buttons on the phone or unplug the phone until you see the Welcome screen! You may see a couple of different screens during the process, but the upgrade isn't done until you see the Green Welcome screen.)All Done!!
TREO 750 PHONESBACKUP YOUR PROGRAMS AND CONTACTS FIRST!

4) Plug your TREO 750 into a power source.
5) Insert the miniSD Card into your phone.
6) Press and hold both the PTTApp Button (lowest button on left side of device) + Pin Reset (next to miniSD card slot).
7) You will be prompted if you want to start the update
8) Press the END key of your phone and the upgrade process will begin!
9) After the upgrade is complete, you should see the Welcome to Windows Mobile screen!
